Tucked away in the heart of New Orleans near bourbon street, this classy spot serves up some tasty local fare. Their roasted oysters are a must-try--hot, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The gumbo is another winner, with a rich, hearty broth loaded with shrimp, chicken, and spicy andouille sausage. It's got that classic Creole kick that keeps you coming back for more. The gumbo was among the best I've had in New Orleans. The main course fish dish was delicious too, with tender, flaky meat and spot-on seasoning, but there was one hiccup: the skin wasn't descaled. It's a small thing, but it made eating a bit tricky and detected from the overall experience. Despite that, the meal was still a hit overall. With decent food and a welcoming vibe, this place really captures the essence of New Orleans dining. Add some attentive service and you have a place that deserves a visit.

We came here for a quick lunch. It was right around the corner from our hotel so very convenient. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful! It is one of the nicer restaurants on Bourbon street. Theres plenty of seats so they can handle large groups. We really wanted some char grilled oysters so we ordered 2 dozen , and then one dozen with crawfish tails on top. I don't think the crawfish tails were that worth it, it was an additional $7 for crawfish tails, and they are so small and shriveled up after baking. We also ordered a fish po boy, soup and shrimp and grits to share. The shrimp and grits here are great!! They aren't super cheesey but they had alot of flavor. The chargrilled oysters here are not that big so we ended up ordering another dozen. They also arent super saucey or oily as other places I have tried. Service was very quick and friendly. Good place to get some cajun food!

This restaurant was very New Orleans classy. We all sat near the bar and most of my friends had bourbon and oysters. I was told they harvest them 30 miles away and they come three days fresh. Their bourbon selection is gargantuan. They had a long list to choose from, and it's the home of the New Orleans Bourbon Society. I'm not yet a fan of oysters but my friends enjoyed the hell out of them, as well as the bourbon. I knew that if I was walking into a oyster house, they definitely had fresh baked bread available. Since most of us didn't eat much, I ordered a few loaves to be brought out. Needless to say, the guys loved my move on that. Best bread in the entire city I have to admit. I know they have a lot more to eat and perhaps one day ill come back and try their fish and chips and test their creme brulee.

This was overall a very elegant dining experience. Staff was pleasant, prompt and hospitable. The charbroiled oysters were to die for - I ended up going in a binge the next day and nearly no one else compared. The red fish dish was very flavorful between the sauce, Caramelized onions and don't sleep on the potato. Looks bland AF but they must've boiled/roasted it in some Louisiana seasonings but it was flavorful. I'd definitely recommend when in NOLA!

Bourbon House is a must when in New Orleans. This visit Husband and I decided to go and sit on the bar side. WOW! What a difference! The bar side was popping, the people were drinking and chatting and servers were on point. Great service. So we had gone online and joined the NOBS, which gave us a FREE ounce of the bourbon of the month. What a great thing. We also had a delicious appetizer and then continued with an ounce of another delicious bourbon. They have a large list of bourbon to choose from of course because they are the meeting place for the NOBS. Go enjoy and if you go in December during lunch remember to get your Christmas bell!!
